What is Ter-Mite?

Ter-Mite is the most effective expansive mortar on the market today. It is the best choice for rock and concrete breaking when explosive blasting is not an option.

How Ter-Mite is used?

Ter-Mite is mixed with water and the mix is poured into pre-drilled holes (38-52mm). While Ter-Mite is reacting, other nearby holes can be filled safely. Evacuating the area is not necessary. When Ter-Mite expands, it cracks the rock/concrete into pieces of a predetermined size, which can be removed with conventional methods.

This method makes the operation more effective as protection of nearby structures is not necessary and other work can continue normally. The material used is environmentally friendly and can be disposed of as normal construction waste.

Ter-Mite can even be used in situations where there is standing water in the rock or structure. Ter-Mite makes it possible to work in a very confined space where it’s difficult or impossible to use machinery.
