Hydraulic Splitter Systems

Hydrax splitters complete our selection for non explosive and safe excavation and demolition methods.

They are a ideal companion for Ter-Mte non explosive demolition agent.

Hydraulic splitting is a method of breaking rock and concrete from the inside by using a hydraulic pressure which operates a set of wedges. These wedges pose an enormous force (upto 600 Tons) which will crack the material.

A complete kit consists of: a hydraulic splitter cylinder, high pressure hose system with quick connectors and

a hydraulic pump unit with electric or petrol (gasoline, benzin) motor.

Hydrax hydraulic power units

Hydrax power units are designed and made in EU. Only the best possible components are used to achieve a very high quality product.

All our power units have high quality 2 speed hydraulic pumps made in Switzerland and replaceable return line filters to guarantee maximum performance and long life for the unit. We only use steel tanks for trouble free service and a hoop kit is standard for all units. Hose distribution blocks are available for multi cylinder applications.

Petrol version is ideal to applications where no electricity is available - truly stand alone system. For work that is done inside a building an electric unit is more suitable as it produces no exhaust gas emissions. Our units are light weight for 1 man operation.

We use high quality pressure hoses and 1000 bar high end quick connectors. Our hoses are equipped with heavy duty protective sleeves for maximum life and work safety.
